Taster Lunch

On friday the 20th of september room22,room21 and room19 had a taster lunch everyone brought something from there culter or a family favirote my favirote food was the pavlova that ethan brought I enjoyed the taster lunch.

 I found this fun because I like trying new things and I found this easy because i know lots of idioms it was fun because I gused the meaning and the I searched the meaning.

Speech Marks

My Reflection

I found it tricky to work out where the speech marks were going. I need to work on finding out what has actually been said. There was some punctuation in already and this confused me. Mrs Walker highlighted the sentences that had errors.

Camp Merc Poster

MY REFLECTION
I was learning to use the features of persuasive posters I used a rhetorical question , paragraphs/sub headings , good use of a picture/pictures , described the good things and benefits using exaggerated adjectives and adverbs , use bossy verbs ( Imperatives ) , not a slogan , not too much detail but enough to sell camp and bold/eye catching words and letters.

Bike Skills

Reflection

I was learning to ride a bike in a straight line and scoot. I found riding in a straight line easy because I ride my bike at home. But I found scooting hard because it was my fist time scooting. I need to improve on my scooting by practising at home.

I was learning to do new paint art skills. I learnt to use stipple, drag, tonal modelling and card print. I am proud of my drag because the first time I did it I wasn't careful and I did it too big so I had to go over it again. I still need to work on card print because I put too much blue in.

I was learning to recognise patterns and use my number knowledge to solve problems with place value. I found it easy to work out what 100 would be because I knew it would have 3 digits. I then worked out what was 1 and what was 0. So then I found the one's column and the ten's column. I enjoyed this activity.
                                                                 

Camp Merc Certificate

I am proud of managing without my mum for 3 days. I hope to visit Camp Merc again.

Camp Merc Birthday

My Camp Reflection

What I liked about camp was the abseiling and body boarding because in body boarding I went really fast. In abseiling it felt like I was spiderman. I would like to get better at kayak surfing because I couldn't really control the boat! It was my birthday when we were at camp and everyone sang to me and I received a chocolate cake.
